Located in the heart of Sumatra, the province of Riau is our home in Indonesia. While most foreign travelers have not heard of or traveled to Riau before, we have come to love this place. The mix of cultures in the cities and the laid back river culture of the many villages provide for a variety of experiences close to home.

Life here has long been built around the rivers, and this shows in the area’s annual festivals and events. From the dragon boat races in Kuansing to the Bono river surfing in Pelalawan, you will find a variety of river-centric experiences once you venture out of the city and into the surrounding villages. Smiling faces will greet you along the way as you encounter locals who are eager to invite you in and show you their favorite spots.

While tourism is still developing in this area, we are excited to work with locals to develop more offerings for visitors. We get to go and explore areas that foreigners rarely visit and enjoy Indonesian hospitality that is second to none. We would love to bring you along!
